Level 1 |

Students new to Iyengar yoga learn the foundation of this method through basic asanas. We recommend that students complete a minimum of 2 or 3 sessions at Level 1 before moving on to Level 2. |
Level 2 |
|
A stamina-building course that refines familiar poses and introduces more challenging ones
Independent Sarvangasana is refined. Several sessions at this level are recommended. |
Level 3 |
|
This course introduces a range of intermediate asanas. Students should be able to hold Sirsasana 3 minutes at the wall and Sarvangasana with variations 5-8 minutes. |
Level 4 |
|
This course introduces additional intermediate asanas. Students work with more maturity and refinement in all asanas and must be seasoned Iyengar yoga practitioners. |
All Levels |
|
This class explores a wide variety of asanas and is challenging for all levels. Pre-requisite: Level 1 experience. |
Strength and Endurance |
|
This fast-paced, vigorous class welcomes students who have attended Iyengar yoga classes for at least 6 months and are injury free. |
Restorative/ Particular Needs |
|
Restorative yoga facilitates recuperation and helps ease stress through supported asanas and breath awareness. Pre-natal students may begin the program any time with their midwife/doctor’s approval.
Students with health challenges are given individual programs particular to their needs. Please call the centre 613-761-7888 to arrange a consultation with the instructor. Please note that the centre is up a flight of stairs.

Pranayama |
|
Pranayama is controlled breathing that soothes the nerves and quietens the mind. Students registering in the Monday class should have previous pranayama experience. All other pranayama courses welcome students with Level 2 asana experience. |

Sutra Study: Explore the rich tradition of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras through readings, reflection and discussion. |
